Same again, Arsenal losing at home to crappy Olympiakos and Chelsea losing at Porto.
What on Earth is going on? 6 matches so far for English teams in the champions league, 5 have resulted in losses to the English team. Are the players not good enough? Is it the managers? What is happening?
Wenger IMO has lost the plot. In the summer he only signed Peter Cech. When Arsenal have so much money in the bank and clearly money to spend, why is he not strengthening the team? And then tonight he rests Peter Cech, resting a keeper, what is he playing at?
Chelsea, what on Earth is going on? They walked the league last season. They added Falcao, Pedro and Rahman, I don't believe that this team is no longer top class. Something seems to be very odd at Chelsea - the fit female physio who was so popular with players lost her job, Mourinho always seems in a bad mood, what's going on?

I was called unpatriotic today, because I wanted the English clubs to fall flat on their arses.
Am I?
Don't care.

I'm interested in football, just not the three ring, Sky inspired, circus that is the Champions League.
Champions League....?
The one you can qualify for by finishing fourth in your domestic league?
Yeah, it's awash with "champions" isn't it?
It's an artificial construct designed to part the terminally under-brained from their cash and is simply a method employed by the TV broadcasters to bring us closer to a European Superleague (TM) that they can flog to far eastern countries for top dollar.
It's all over-hyped bollocks and I can't believe more people can't see it for what it is.
And Mourinho's a cock by the way - more boring in his footballing outlook than either Megson or Freedman.
He just had the playing personnel to actually pull it off.

You fucking idiot. The Champions League is the best football competition in world football, with all the best teams in Europe with all of the best players in the world in it. You're talking stupid. Sure it is a money spinner because it is so incredibly popular, not just in Europe but around the world.
You divvy.
You're going to get the Ronnie Pickering treatment unless you keep your filthy trap shut.
You're talking stupid.

Give it a rest, eh?
I have absolutely no idea who Ronnie Pickering is and much less do I care.
The old days is the old days and this is New Nuts now.
Accept the changes with good grace and embrace them or shut up.

Pickering is in North Yorkshire and they don't have a team in the Not All Champions League.
