Tell your son(s) and watch the horrified reaction first-hand!!

Good job i smoked then. Its hard enough tucking it into my sock every morning.

(Before all the pin dick jokes start)

Very Happy

My dad used to send me to the corner shop to get him 10 Park Drive. He gave up smoking in his seventies but died of lung cancer just short of his 82nd  birthday. My mother will be 80 next year and has never smoked. I can't help thinking if he hadn't smoked he would still be around today to keep her company in her twilight years.

I hated smoking when i was a kid. Got my nan and grandad to both pack in only for me to start about 17. Stupid really.

Still don't understand why youngsters don't smoke pipes. Much safer than cigs, with the added bonus that you appear more thoughtful and intelligent.
They can still hang about round the corner shop, asking complete strangers to "get me an ounce of Black Shag mate?"
Pipe smoking is simply dying out.

My dad smoked a pipe at one time. St Bruno and Condor were his choice of Tobacco but occasionally he would go into that tobacconist on Bradshawgate and order two ounces of twist?

Lot of pipe smokers in my younger days at Burnden. First thing I used to smell if Dad took me in the paddock was a mixture of strong pipe tobacco and rum.
