North Korea

Every documentary I've seen is controlled and the journalists also have government escorts which is off-putting. Always like to get off the beaten track to "see how people really live" when I travel but unfortunately that's not possible in N Korea. Plus nobody would be prepared to talk about anything. A real shame as the country has an amazing history, I like Korean food and the subserviant culture is a fascinating contrast with the UK.

Have they got any pubs in North Korea?
