Pensioner Stewart Green drowned his nine-year-old grandson in the bath and sat calmly on the sofa until his family returned home, a court has been told.

Greene, 65, from Louth in Lincolnshire had a history of mental issues but had been released by doctors.

Once again an innocent person is murdered because a mental person had a relapse. Isn't it time we simply kept them all under lock and key? If this had been a paedophile who'd murdered a child the media would be full of "lock them up forever" headlines. But for some reason we seem to just shrug our shoulders when a mental person commits another awful crime.

And before anyone slags me off for knowing nothing about mental health, my Uncle Kevin was a mentalist. He set fire to his own house on more than one occasion, but every time the hospital sent him home to my Dad's care. Personally I'd have locked the bastard up permanently.

Are we too soft on mental health?

We should lock up people who think that the word "mentalist" refers to those with mental health issues.

I've watched Alan Partridge. It clearly refers to people with mental issues.

Is that like a metallurgist?

Or is it the proper name for someone who likes wrapping their old chap in tinfoil when they knock one out?

This is a serious topic, do you really have to turn every thread into a sex discussion?

I genuinely want to know what a "metalist" is.

Don't raise these issues if you're not prepared to explain your thinking.

This is problem, people are scared to address mental illness. They change the subject.

Perhaps if a mentalist knifed someone you knew you'd pull your head out of the sand.

Technically, the correct Partridgian term is "Zpastic mentallist", so if you're going to cite him when you're offending people, at least do it properly.

Frankie Boyle you ain't.......

(I had to spell it like that to get it through the censor.)

The point is, you get the point I'm making. But choose to ignore it because you don't want to publically acknowledge I'm right.

These people should be locked up.

My main point was correct. I typing error changes nothing.

Mental people should be locked up forever - yes or no.

Give them all a gun and send them to Syria.

Two birds one stone.

Insensitive.

I don't want mentalists to come to any harm, just be locked up away from the sane.
