Anyone familar with Douglas Adams' "Dirk Gently Holitsic Detective Agency" books will be pleased to know that the new series, based on the books, begins tonight on BBC4 at 9pm

Hope the wry humour will tranfer from print to film.

It looks like there are some very big egos on the latest series of The Apprentice.

" I am a predator at the top of the food chain." What a load of bullshit.

Excellent soundtrack as well, mostly by The Chemical Brothers.
Saw this at the cinema and it was a great film, great story, well directed - a sort of Bourne for girls.
A sequel wouldn't be out of place if they apply the same production values.

Has it started? I thought it was on Wednesdays?

Thought Hitchhikers made a decent radio show, but was absolutely shite on the telly. Like Nat's love life, some things are best left to the imagination.

It starts this Wednesday. RT has already forgotten there is an Apprentice thread.

Anyone know if this "Touch" thing is like 24?
It's being hyped as similar so I might check it out.

It's not like 24 at all, if i had to compare it to a show it'd be Heroes.

It's not great, honestly, the Pilot reminded me of a weaker X files episode.

definitely one to watch only if you're very stuck for a show.

Stop spoiling my tv pleasure you bellend. Everytime a new show starts you pipe up that you've already watched it.

Sorry, but the question was posed, having seen it, i answered it.

generally i will check out any new Pilot that garners a bit of buzz.

I wouldn't recommend it personally unless you were a big heroes fan.

He asked you if it was like 24, not whether it was any good.

I had my whole Tuesday planned. Tea, gym, big bag of Monster Munch, Pepsi & Touch.

You owe me an evening.

You might love it.

Do you always just blindly agree with reviews? Write to film critics and lambast them for reviewing a show?

give it a go, i hope you like it, it's not terrible, it's just not my cup of tea.

I enjoyed the first series of Heroes but the second got too complicated for me.

Two interesting series coming soon:

Dexter series 6 on 30 March - I find it a bit addictive like I did 24. I can't believe they have already commissioned series 7 and 8.

Games of Thrones series 2 on 2 April. Really enjoyed series 1 which was a lot better than I expected.

Dexter is ace, really ace. Vince Masuka is one of the funniest characters on tv.

I also found Game of Thrones addictive even though not a lot happened.

So-so. There were some good moments last night I thought, but were too many "filler" bits with not much happening.

Yeah it's not got the pacing of 24 and I'm disappointed that there is a second series. It would be nice if it was wrapped up at the end of this series. I'll probably keep watching it though - it helps that I find Claire Danes so attractive. Embarassed

Funnily enough i thought Clare Danes was a bit average before i started watching this but now i find her super attractive. Love her character in this i think she's done a great job.
