No Johnny.
It's all virtual.
I did ok at first (by pure fluke) and was up about thirty quid but then I blew it and lost the lot.
Bonce has a frankly unnatural ability to pick long-shot winners that romp home and it's all a bit dispiriting for us mere mortals.
He'll pick some nag called "Fell In Da Pond" at 33/1 and it wil piss it by about four furlongs and he cleans up.
It's uncanny.
(Nick Fazer just sticks 20p on odds on chances and slowly builds his credit balance, which is probably the only way to beat Bonce in the long term.)

Good men. I remember Bread having a go once before, coming up with a 7/2 winner, and spending the rest of the afternoon running around the garden waving his pants in the air.
RT will be pleased. He's been looking for new blood.

I think the fact none of us remain in the betting shop comp says it all. You never know though. I relish being the underdog.

I had a whole 10p on that in real life and I was well chuffed with my 35p return.
I bought a bag of crisps with it.

I actually hope I'm a bit shit because if I started winning loads I'd be down the bookies thinking I've got a chance and end up even more potless than I already am.

I'm down this month. Need a winner or two next week.
Only bet what you can afford to lose Johnny. The bookies always win in the end.

We all know that you'll pull something out if the bag at the death like you always do.
Some three-legged nag at Sandown or Kempton that hasn't been placed for about two years will storm home and you'll go from -£7 to +£25 and reclaim your crown, mate.

Shut it you.
You've had two picks this month, thanks to RT getting merry on sweet sherry.
I'm just hoping they don't turn it into another gay thread.

. The two picks for Archie is for this month only, just to prove my point that you are unlikely to win the monthly competition by just picking odds on favourites. The profit margin is just too small...even if you get two picks instead of one. Johnny and 58 can join today if they like. There is still nearly 2 weeks for them to turn over a profit.
Monday selection..Prairie Town 1.40 Lingfiield
