Can we stop all this ST bashing until we know who will be on the board and what their plans are please? They may not be everyones cup of tea but they are at least trying to do something about our current situation

A cautious
Damned if they do, Damned if they don't.
There's proactive and reactive, unfortunately I suspect it's about 20% the former and 80% the latter on here.
I'm not convinced yet but I've registered my interest to find out more.

If they gave a toss about what the fans think would they have foisted Megson on us when not a single one was in favour. Doubt it.

Exactly!

The real mistake was hiring Sammy Lee.

The Megson appointment was a stabilising one even though long term it was a disaster financially and in terms of the relationship with the fans.

We have people on here who would be fantastic even if it's only in an advisory role, people like Rammy and Manda instantly spring to mind.

I don't know the back story to all the people involved other than the bits i've read on here but honestly Crispy came across well to me last night and didn't seem to be in it for what he could get. He seemed to be thoroughly invested in doing something to benefit the supporters and the club.

I could be completely wrong but we have to give them a chance don't we?

We do have to give the st a go. And ill be fully behind it. And hopefully cc will keep to his word and not run for the board seat. Obviously i know rammy and manda from here and they would definitely get my vote. But that's because i know them. How many of the other people who went last night will. if cc runs he is pretty much the face of it now.

The biggest mistake ever was making Gartside chairman and giving him the full power to run the club any way he saw fit. Eddie may have meant well but he should have seen the looming disaster years ago. If he knew what was going on then Eddie must bear complete responsibility for the position we're now in. If he didn't then he was woefully, almost criminally negligent and frankly I find it hard to believe a man known for his business acumen would really not bother to keep a close eye on millions of pounds of his own money the way we're being asked to believe. Frankly it defies logic and beggars belief that ED was completely unaware of the true picture because there's no way a man like him would not have a very close look at the books on a regular basis and ask real questions of an employee who was overseeing such an explosion of debt.

Agree utterly and completely which does beg the question as to why, if we could see what was looming and our only stake was an emotional one, couldn't he?? It truly defies any logical explanation, and I have tried to view it from as many angles as I can think of - none of them make any sense.

Wasn't that the job Azreal claimed he was given?

Top job Azreal.
Where is Azreal?

Is he being held hostage somewhere?

A bit late (sorry I've been a bit busy recently) but I would like to say hello and thank  you for breaking your posting 'duck' on here.

Thank you for putting me right on who made the (stupid) statement of 60,000 members = £10 million!

We waited a long time for your first post and it was an excellent one, quickly followed by your next two!

I hope we don't have to wait as long for your fourth!

Hope to read more of your views and opinions soon mate.
