If they can't spend money how will they sign him? Are we giving him away now then?Barb Dwyer wrote:According to Iles, Fulham (who are under a transfer embargo) are now favourites to sign him.

Who would pay an injury prone player 20 grand a week? Of course they won't pay it, that'd be stupid. Wednesday are a club on the up, he should just take what they're offering and run.Boggersbelief wrote:He's on close to £20k a week and Wednesday won't match it. Simple as that

I've rarely seen him run.

Which basically tells the story of why Bolton are in such a mess.
Not that anyone on here needs telling.

Yes, because if he was being a dick he'd make it public wouldn't he.

They must have enjoyed that Wednesday fans.
I remember when we were in the Prem and they were in League One and Gary Madine was their star striker.
Five years later they've got a far superior squad and it's now us relying on Madine, who despite a couple of "goals" recently is still pretty hopeless at this level you have to admit.

Did anybody else see that Wigan were three nil up at home with 20 minutes left last night and it finished 3-3?
Cheered me up a tiny bit anyway.
They'll probably still be a league above us next season mind.
