Roast Goose.

Never had it before today.

Turns out it's nice - miles better than Turkey.

Is that some of that fusion food gubbins?

I hate it when the middle class take one of our working class staples and turns it into summat posh.

Leave our cranberries alone!  Very Happy

Kin 'ell.......it's The End of Days, clearly.

Summat unprecedented's occurring.

Keep your eyes open for two-headed lambs and plagues of locusts and shit.....

Where's Rebel when we need him?

Just watched 'Sherlock' with a big mug of tea and a plentiful supply of cheese and crackers.

Very enjoyable TV.

Loved how they played it.

Perfect balance between the source material and the new spin thing.

Even Reichenbach Falls got a look in. (Sort of  Very Happy )

And they've left it hanging for more episodes.

God bless Aunty!

When the concept was first mooted,I made up my mind there and then, that I was going to hate it.

Got a bit sniffy about it,but boy, have they proved me wrong.

Love the humour too.

At the risk of Whittam calling me a snob (if he's still here after Pete's coup de grace), I loved all the subtle nods to the fans which weren't rammed home.

TV's dumbed down too far already and it was nice to see something that was aimed at people whose brains still function.

Really enjoyed it.

Just about to watch it if Mrs McD and I can keep our eyes open. Flew back to NY today. Veggie Chinese and Sherlock!

Save it otherwise you may miss some of the subtle bits if you're tired.

Enjoy your Chinese (in those cartons that look so good in Friends and Big Bang that we don't get from Soo's over here) and watch it at your leisure.

Hope you enjoyed your trip "home" and glad you got back in one piece, mate.

Thanks, Bread. Back on dry land now but very much enjoyed our time back in Bolton. Lucky enough to witness the won over Blackburn too.

It turns out hat Sherlock isn't on for another half an hour so there is no chance of trying to stay up or risking not fully enjoying it. I loved the others and don't want to spoil this one.

Settling for the last half hour of The Village instead.

Fingers crossed for more points tomorrow, mate.

Hope you had a great Christmas!
