Official: Conor Wilkinson joins Newport County on loan

Conor Wilkinson has joined Newport County on a loan deal until February 20.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21s international recently returned to Macron Stadium after spending the first half of the season on loan at Barnsley.

Wilkinson is in line to make his debut for Warren Feeney’s side, who currently sit 20th in the Sky Bet League Two table, against Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.

The 20-year-old has seven senior appearances in a Bolton shirt to his name, while has also previously spent time on loan at Chester, Torquay United and Oldham Athletic.

He definitely played in the Rotherham away match last season that I went to.

I remember him playing against Ipswich, Berra had him in his pocket all night Wilkinson never got a touch.

Yep he played against Ipswich, well thought of by management at the time but never looked interested in that game a crime for a young kid getting his chance, his last loan manager commented on a need for his attitude to change if he wants to make it. spoiled or what.

OK he's no great loss but who does that leave us with? Eaves? Dobbie?

He's 20 years old now and with the shit team and strikers we have at the moment then if he can't get a shout then he needs be fucked off.
