Most important thing first - I hope your cousin is doing well mate.

As for everything else, Johnny did let some of us know that the reason he had left Nuts was in regards to his cousins cancer scare and reading about the death and comments in respect of Phil Gartside's stomach cancer was too close to home for him to want to be reading about it constantly.

Having been in a similar position myself when my mother was dying of cancer I know how he must of felt.

I can't tell people who to banter with and who to not, you're all old enough to decide that yourselves.  Similarly what anyone's state of mind is on Nuts at the best of times is open to question, so what is said in banter and how people respond to it depending on their real life situations and the stresses and strains they are under at the time, can be and is, a bit of a lottery at times.

Of course we can all be courteous and civil to everyone else, can be totally PC and uncontentious with our thoughts, views and opinions, and be utterly, utterly boring, or we can just be our normal (or fake!) selves and get on with doing and saying our normal shit, having a laugh, going too far at times, taking the piss and simply giving enjoyment to ourselves and others - but very, very occasionally saying or doing something that unintentionally does upset someone.

I would never want anybody to get hurt from reading what is said on Nuts but I rather take the remote chance that may happen than Nuts becomes a sterile emotionless forum, where I and not many others would want to waste away our day, reading goody goody posts all the time.

Hopefully now that Johnny is back things will get back to normal (or at least what is normal for Nuts!) now.

Hope people feel the same way as I do.

Nobody 'forced' Johnny to leave, he took that decision himself based on what was going on in his life at the time.

He felt it was the right think to do.

It seems to have worked for him too, as he now feels he can return and once again be his normal self.

At the end of the day Nuts is only a little distraction away from our everyday lives, a place we can go to escape from other things we rather not be doing or facing up to. I guess when the same thing is going on at Nuts at the same time you are try to escape from it in real life for a few minutes, then there isn't much point coming here really is there - therefore I wouldn't think it matters who said what at the time.

That's how I would view things anyway.
