I'm glad they fined him, his actions were pathetic, absolutely pathetic.

He tried to claim they were his lucky boxer shorts but that didn't explain why he was dropping his shorts in the first place.

The reaction has been fairly bad to this considering UEFA has fined people less for racist abuse.

But it isn't worse than racist abuse, IMO.

They couldn't just fine him - they had to ban him. If they fine him, there's nothing to stop Paddy Power picking up the tab for the fine is there? In which case, there's nothing to stop others doing it.
