Some people think they're God, others hear voices in their heads. Lots of people think the world is out to get them. Being a woman/man in a man's/woman's body is just another gene defect. Most blokes go out at weekend trying to get into womens' bodies so it's nothing new.

If you're born a woman, you're a woman. I don't believe this "woman in a man's body" bollocks.

Very narrow minded and verging on placing a stereo type on gender. The way an individual feels and perceives themselves is  both psychological and physiological.

There may be instances where gender reassignment is the only option for some individuals but how do you prioritise?

Similar questions have been asked about IVF, not life saving so should that be available on the NHS?

You can't sum up issues like these as each case is individual, and that is why yur broad brush statement is complete garbage.

fortunately there are much better qualified and thankfully open minded individuals making these decisions than you.

You'll eventually learn not to try end engage Nat in serious and well reasoned debate on threads like this one, mate.

You won't win and you may well wind up punching your screen in frustration.

Believe me...... Very Happy

People dying of cancer because they can't get the right drugs, or people born men who want to be women.

Who is more important? Those that want to live or those that want to wear short skirts?

Perhaps Fab has a reasoned argument (although I doubt it), something you never quite got the hang of.

Don't try your evil click bait voodoo on me, woman.....

I learnt my lesson a while ago.

You just type what you like and I'll ignore it.

I don't know what you have against this thread. It's topical and hasn't been done before. I thought that's what you wanted?

It sounds boring. I recently watched a Danish film called 'Pelle the Conqueror'. I thought it was going to be about a good looking Italian centre forward who plays for Southampton, but it turned out to be about immigrants moving from Sweden to Denmark. I was asleep within minutes.

The point you seem to have missed is that there are people far more eminently qualified and better informed than you or I who have to live with making these sorts of decisions on a daily basis.

I would however suggest that to answer your question, who is more important, you need to clarify from what perspective you are looking at it, different individuals will put a different value on it depending on how such a situation affects them.

An illness does not need to be life threatening to be prioritised, I would suggest that long term conditions both physical and mental can be just as hard to deal with.
