But will he play though?
Chelsea have failed to complete the transfer of England defender Gary Cahill in time for Saturday's Premier League game against Sunderland.
But Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas is confident the protracted deal will still be completed "this week".
Bolton [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], reported to be in the region of £7m, almost two weeks ago.
"I'm sure all parties are protecting their interests and we'll reach an agreement," said Villas-Boas.
Chelsea were confident of wrapping up the transfer before the midday cut-off for Cahill, 26, to be registered for the Stamford Bridge clash against Martin O'Neill's men.
However, it is thought the Blues are still working hard to push the deal through on Friday.
Villas-Boas has admitted he has identified a number of other targets if the Cahill deal does collapse.
"We kept a couple of other options available and hopefully we can act quickly if that's the case," he said.
"But I'm pretty confident [the Cahill deal] will happen."
But the delay raises more questions over the agreement of personal terms between the west London club and the player.
Villas-Boas revealed Chelsea and the player were "miles apart" last week, before Bolton counterpart Owen Coyle said he thought a deal would be concluded before last weekend.
