Bolton Wanderers Under-18s clinched an emphatic victory over Hull City on Saturday.
The young Whites took the lead through Luca Navarro after the forward was on hand to tap home after the Tigers goalkeeper had spilled Matthew Fearnley's strike.
Having seen Max Allen hit the crossbar with a free-kick, Jack Earing then doubled Bolton's lead with a fine 20-yard effort.
Hull pulled one back after the break, but Navarro clinched victory for the Trotters as he notched his second of the game, heading home substitute Ryan White's cross.
Speaking following the final whistle, head coach David Lee said: "It was a very pleasing performance and we were dominant throughout.
"The possession was excellent throughout and we creating a number of good phases of play.
"We’re especially with the performances of the two Under-16s players, who both made positive impressions.
"With Alex Samizadeh named on the first team’s bench against Reading, both of them took their opportunity well in his absence."
TEAM
Bolton: Turner, Grant, Lonsdale, Honeyball, Brockbank, Allen, Griffiths, Earing (White 60), Fearnley (McKenna 75), Navarro, Palmer.
