Rob Hall is set to be out of action for between six and nine months after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The winger sustained the injury during a training session with MK Dons, with whom he has spent the entirety of the season on loan.

Hall will now undergo an operation before returning to Bolton for further treatment and rehabilitation.

He has made a total of 32 appearances for MK Dons this season, scoring two goals.

At least he's out of contract on 30th June and out of our hair!

It wouldn't surprise me if it was us.

If it's us then it's the NHS picking up the tab.

Feel sorry for him, despite Bolton fans impression of him he's actually a decent lad who wants to do well. Hope MK Dons do the decent thing and give him a contract anyway.

Suspect private medical insurance picks up the ticket.

Decent lad? Another lazy ponce not prepared to work at his game.

Utterly useless, just another in a long line of awful signings.

I suspect the club will be able to claim it from MK Dons insurers. I'm pretty sure this would be covered by Employer's Liability Insurance. It may be that our insurance company claims it from theirs but either way it won't be the clubs paying for it directly. It might nudge our premiums or theirs up a bit though.
