Feeney...

Would Feeney have done ok if he played for England in the Euros? Like would he have given England something extra, something different? 

(I am talking about when he is in good form)

He couldn't have done any worse, if we're being honest.

"Effort" and "trying hard" appear to be quite important measures of yer footballer in the English press and Liam's got that shit in spades.

Sterling can run at defenders, do his tricky "Ooh, where's me chicken legs gone and where's the ball?" thing before falling over and allowing the full-back to clear it easily.

And he's a shoe in.

Liam's ability to beat a man and then shank it into Row Z must be worth a call up to the national squad, surely?

"Watch the eyes.....I'm looking in the box....watch 'em.....you think it's going on the penalty spot, don't you?....Ah, but it's not.....watch the eyes......Boom!"
