Only ever been to two pre season matches, 1 was Bury away when Gunlaugsson made his debut and the other was Liverpool at home when we won 4-1.

Had 2 car windows smashed that last time I went to see us play at Tranmere. Many many moons ago admittedly but I won't be going back.

Went to a pre season game at Tranmere many years ago. As we stopped our motorbike at the lights,a car drew up beside us,and Malcolm Allison poked his head out and said 'This the way to the ground lads?'
We assured him it was,and off we sped,leaving them stalled at the lights(Joe Mercer was driving)
What amazed us was the state of their car,which looked like something dragged out of a lake.
