If I thought I'd overstepped the mark in some way, I'd have apologised immediately but I honestly don't think I did and I'm clearly not alone in that belief.

You played your part in all this with some of the disgraceful personal comments you posted about me and the way you refused to elaborate on the reasons for the ban.

If you'd have had the wherewithal to explain your rationale for banning me via PM, I'd have accepted it and we could have sorted it out "off board" and avoided all the shit that's gone on since and deprived the usual suspects of yet another opportunity to spend the week trying to stir up pointless shit for their own entertainment.

I stand by what I said at the time and I hope you now understand that it wasn't a personal attack on you or your family.

If you can accept that, then fine - we can all move on.

If you can't, PM and we can discuss it away from prying eyes.

There is no need to apologise by the way!

Was quite daunting the first day I brought him home but now on day 6 we are beginning to get into a routine with him (thank god) as I have run out of matchsticks for my eyes!

I'm glad things are going well mate. Make sure you enjoy these wonderful days because they really do go by much too quickly, especially with your first child. Take lots of pictures and print them (I know most people keep their snaps on a computer these days but there's still nothing like a photo album you can hold in your hands imo) and if you got a red book from the hospital fill it in. I did for both my boys and that book has everything in it from their date and time of birth to their first word, date of first step, even their first lost tooth. In all honesty now that they're adult (or nearly so in Matt's case) I look back on those early days and wonder where the time went. Anyway, all the best to you and yours and I hope the little guy (not so little at 8ib 4 I suppose) grows up healthy and happy and gives you and your Mrs thousands of magic moments and memories.
