Those that have followed my work over the years will know I am unlucky in love. Partners have kidnapped me, burned my fanny off, and pretended to be professional footballers.
I am a true romantic who had always believed I would meet my soulmate, but after years of dating dickheads I'm beginning to think my Mr Right isn't out there.
So is it time to follow in the footsteps of Mrs Breadman, Mrs Bonce, Mrs Johnny and Mrs KP and settle? Accept I'm not going to meet someone like me - hot and intelligent - and settle for second best. Someone not too ugly and mildly intelligent. Someone is better than no one...right?
Is anyone on here brave enough to admit they "settled" just to have somebody to keep them warm at night, rather than wait forever for Mr or Mrs Right to show up? Or perhaps you know your partner "settled" when they married you, if so how does that make you feel?
Has anyone ditched or missed out on someone because they thought they could do better, only to regret that decision later in life?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
