Bolton Wanderers XI continue their 2016/17 pre-season campaign away at Crewe Alexandra on Friday night.
Originally scheduled to face York City on Saturday, manager Phil Parkinson has now opted to instead send an XI side to the Alexandra Stadium to face the Railwaymen's first team as the young Whites' pre-season preparations continue after a ten-day break.
Yet to taste defeat, Bolton's second-string will be looking to maintain their impressive close-season form after winning their last two matches - including a 2-1 victory over Stafford Rangers in their last outing.
In contrast, newly-relegated Crewe will be taking part in their fifth pre-season match ahead of the 2016/17 Sky Bet League Two campaign.
Steve Davis' side won 4-0 away in their last match against Nantwich Town, having lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers, drawn with Kidsgrove Athletic and beaten Buxton FC earlier in the summer.
Admission to the game will cost as follows:
Adults: £4
Seniors: £2
Under-16s: £1
These prices will be payable on the gate at the ground.
If fans cannot make the game, a match report will be available on www.bwfc.co.uk following the final whistle.
