On his side's performance…
We had some good moments but we can play better. We’ve got good enough players to get hold of the ball for longer periods of the game than we did today.

We never could get hold of the ball like we did in the first period. We looked fatigued because we couldn’t get hold of the ball.

We gave it away too cheaply when we got it and couldn’t reproduce the start from the opening quarter but we stuck at it.

MK Dons are a good team. They’ve come down a division and want a reaction. To come away with something is important.

On opponents MK Dons…
MK Dons were in the same league as us last year. They are in the same position as us this year.

They have got Championship-quality players and will be up there, so credit to our lads for how well we’ve start in comparison to them.

On Mark Howard's penalty save...
The penalty save was magnificent from Mark however the decision to award it was a joke.

The infringement started outside the area and the lad flings himself to the floor.

Then Jamie Proctor is wiped out as he is about to score at the other end, but we haven’t got a penalty ourselves.

On missing injured players and the impact of his side's substitutes...
We had a decent spell when Sammy came on. He looked very dangerous on the right cutting inside on his left foot and went close with a very good effort.

Chris Taylor had a good attempt too when he came on. We’re missing Zach, Max and Gary. That ammunition of the bench, like Sammy provided, probably would have given us a freshness when we did look fatigued.

On Wanderers maintaining their unbeaten start to the season...
We’ve worked hard to have this start of the season. I always felt that there would be some sort of reaction from MK Dons after their defeat last week.

When you don’t play at your best, it is important to come away with something and we have done today.

And a final reflection on his side's last two home matches...
Last week we played excellent and only got a point. If that had been three, with the point today to make it four from the two, it would have been good.

We had spells without being at our best, but these are a decent side so we’ll have to take the point on the day. We move on. We’re still unbeaten and we can keep going.
