I really don't get the point of trying to wind up/piss off certain folk or play meaningless Machiavellian games to seek revenge in return, on a forum where the vast majority of people don't even know who each other is, or ever likely even meet them in real life!

What is the big deal in seeing if you can get an internet reaction from someone you don't know or attempting to get people banned (or should that be band?) because they pissed on your chips?

Christ my real life might be sad enough already but at least I've not got to the stage where something said or done on the internet actually effects me.

Call me all the names under the Sun if you like - they are only words - they don't hurt me.  Go and get me banned from here too if you want - I've already been banned from most other BWFC forums and I've survived, so another one wont make that much difference to me.

We started Nuts up for a laugh - at least I did - and we wanted people to join in and share the laugh - and for a while it was good, really good - but like most things one or two had to spoil it for the rest of us - they thought (still think apparently) that their agendas and game playing are far more important than what the rest of us want - or deserve.  They don't seem to get that if they 'kill' the forum through their games they actually 'kill off' themselves too because no one is left to play along with them any more - and if you want an example of that then look no further than Burnden Aces where the utterly bizarre fake account of bloke pretending to be a Scottish woman, posting on the forum in a mock Scottish accent, who is a pretend Celtic fan, who claims they support BWFC because Lennon became manager (even though he's long been sacked and moved on to another club) - is the only regular poster left on the whole forum!

Tell me where is the fun is for that person being the last one standing after everybody else has buggered off?  And who the fuck would actually WANT to post on there now with that weirdo???

A forum NEEDS REAL people posting on it and there HAS to be some level of tolerance amongst each other for the forum to work.

If everybody is of the same mind, same humour, same intelligence, etc, then you might just as well talk to yourself - there is nothing new, different or challenging that comes out of everyone being alike.

Forums are a niche market these days - not many people prefer to spend their time socialising on them - the majority now Facebook, tweet, snapchat and all other more trendier and with it things.

In all honesty there is probably only a couple of dozen regular posters on any of the big three BWFC forums and if you manage to piss say a handful of them off your forum quickly becomes very quiet and dull.

If you want Nuts to crash and burn then please carry on until one side wins the 'internet' war and the other side buggers off - see what a pyrrhic victory that turns out to be.

You're obviously happy to allow Whittam to keep stirring up the shit with "her" repeated appeals for clemency if one of the "more controversial" characters gets banned for causing trouble, as witnessed by the indecent haste with which you reinstated both (the) Boggersbelief (character) and (the) Scottjames30 (character) about three minutes after Whittam posted a thread requesting (the) Bogersbelief (character)'s return.

"We're all grown ups so can we please pretend that we get along and keep the post count up so that I can keep looking down my nose at BA and the other losers" was pretty much how it came across at the time.

Not a dig at Whittam by the way - One of the few contributors to this site who keeps things interesting and I generally respect that and enjoy it.

As I've said, if you want to fuck off then just stop posting. Deleting your account is just attention seeking.

This forum is quiet because BWFC are shit and people are losing interest. It's that simple.
