I honestly don't think anyone knows, not where we go from here, but how do we get there. I think the outline plan is being put in place, with many untested theories, but until the rest of the country is brought on side, its going to be very frustrating.
I believe that to tell everyone where we are, and what we are working on, at this stage, would be unwise. It would show the EU negotiators how we plan to approach negotiations, but more likely, it will get the MP's, who have already said they will ignore the referendum to follow their own agendas, the opportunity to delay, frustrate, and damage any proposals. I think that they are more of a problem than people realise, and wouldn't be surprised to see a general election in order to see them replaced with more Brexit minded people.

I think it extremely unlikely that May would call another general election and I wonder if the results would go as you apparently hope. Given a Labour party "led" by Corbyn you might be right though.

At the moment there is no chance whatsoever of an election, I agree. However, I think its all a matter of timing. once article 50 is submitted I think there will be a major shift in the attitude of many people, in accepting the inevitable, and wanting it done as quickly and as cleanly as possible. Admittedly, its only one aspect of a multi faceted problem.

You may be right about a shift in perceptions once article 50 is triggered. On the other hand the shift may be in the opposite direction as people realise just how painful brexit is going to be.

True, but I wonder if its really going to be as dire as some think. Hard, yes, but dire, I don't think so, at least not for the vast majority of the country. Unfortunately, there will always be some who suffer from change.
