I'm sure it's not been lost on you that I am close to the magical 25,000 posts mark. Quite an achievement I'm sure you'll agree.

I expect one day it will be talked about in the same breath as the first man on the moon, the first sub-4 minute mile, the invention of the internet, and Amos having an internet breakdown.

I'm sure there's some sort of party being organised by you rascals, but make it something classy please - no strippers, especially if it's Norpig or Bonce.

You have to be a special kind of person to post 25,000 messages on a football forum, and while I have taken great pleasure from abusing you bellends, I like to think my words of wisdom have inspired you to better yourselves.

Feel free to post messages of gratitude and love on this thread, and perhaps you have some stories detailing how I have touched your life in some way.

I've said it before (and meant it) that you have a gift for humour and you deserve a much wider audience than Nuts could ever give you - the world's loss is Nuts gain.

We've had our moments and no doubt there are more to come but I've never taken any offence at anything you have said and done and have always played fair to you no matter what.

It is a shame that some others over the years have failed to see the funny side of some of the things you have done (I remember Andy Walsh threatening to sue you for instance when you may have said he was a wife beater, or Billy Bradshaw banning you for getting Mitch Upton from his job at Durham County Council!).

I fail to this day understand why people take the internet so seriously but they do give you the opportunity to play them for all they are worth.
