Have you got anything outside the house like a pumpkin or some sort of decoration? Its like an unwritten rule now of only going to houses with some sort of halloween decoration as to not mither those who don't want to take part

Hardly surprising that Preston's Norman Bates isn't popular with young trick or treaters.
I suspect most people locally know it as that one house you stay well clear of no matter what's on offer.
But you're right it is frustrating because you never know whether to buy stuff, and usually when you put the effort in, no frigger comes round.

This is the second year on the trot nobody has come here, (also our second year here). Mind you, were all bungalows in this road, and the next, so its a bit like Gods waiting room, what with all the wrinklies here about. When I looked out of the window, all the other houses had their lights off.

we had 2 pumpkins in the window but no one came, the big scaffolding outside the house may have put people off i'm guessing
