No they don't.

If Leeds were taken over and they built a 70k stadium it'd be packed every week.

We had 9k on for a uefa cup match.

The Leeds United fan base are exactly the same as any other fan base, they only turn up when they are winning.

They average 30k+ despite being total shite. And had similar crowds in league one.

They’ve also been out of the top flight for 14 years. Any club has “potential” if it has money behind it and it’s run competently.

As regards "potential" the downside with BWFC is that the club is geographically situated in the most competitive catchment area for footie fans on the planet, with more professional football teams in a 40 mile radius competing for business than anywhere else. Teams like Norwich and Newcastle are well supported because they have no competition in huge catchment areas but we have competition on all sides which massively reduces the potential for sales and therefore profits.

Leeds had 8 years in the 2nd Div in the 1980s too.historically, there just isn't the money at Leeds that there is at some clubs.

We could do with an update asap because if Anderson is genuinely trying to bring in either investors or to sell the club, it really needs to be sorted at the earliest possible opportunity to give us time to plan and recruit for next season.
As it stands, players contracts and new signing activity is in limbo to some extent and we really don't want to miss the boat again.
I appreciate it's difficult to say anything substantive during the middle of negotiations but it wouldn't do any harm if a few words about the objectives and anticipated timescale were spoken.

Also you don't just come in and sign it over to new owners.....there are all sorts of legal paperwork, contracts, Stadium, and backroom stuff....not to mention approval from the league for starters. And then get players/manager etc....  Hard to see it at typical BWFC speed but we shall see how it plays out.

There won't be an update as no one wants to buy the club.
