On his side’s performance…
It’s a low dressing room as you can imagine, we don’t like getting beat and we have had such a fantastic run here so I’m disappointed.

We’ve got in enough good positions to win the game today but we just needed that bit of extra quality whether it was finishing the chance or the final ball itself.

We had more than enough opportunities to win the game, but we’ve ended up chasing it and losing late on.

On the team’s first defeat since October at Macron Stadium…
We’ve had a solid base all season that has proven to work so well for us and towards the end of the game it became very, you attack, we attack and that’s ended up costing us.

If you can’t win the game you take the point and we’ve got cut through too easily.

It’s a game we should have at least taken a point from and probably all three so it’s obviously frustrating.

On the fitness and size of his squad…
Three of the players today missed the week's training and I felt first half that we looked a little leggy and perhaps a yard off the pace.

Second half we raised our game, scoring that goal and we just needed a second to kill the game.

On his side’s reaction following defeat…
We have a busy week and the nature of being in the football profession is you get knocks and you have to recover from them. That’s what we’re going to be looking at doing after today.

And finally, looking ahead to Tuesday nights FA Cup replay against Crystal Palace…
We have to now move on from this and focus on Tuesday where we have a terrific game at Selhurst Park.

It’s important that we pick ourselves up and go down to Palace and give it the best we can to get the best possible result where there’s a great prize for the winner.

Did I just read that THREE of the team hadn't trained all week?

So how would they have prepared for Swindon? Obviously they didn't so why pick them?

The whole team looked a bit tired in the second half and Swindon took full advantage.

I'm not fussed about the cup replay, we could do with being knocked out. A game against City sounds good on paper (and for my Son) but it's a distraction and another game we could do without.

The ultimate goal has be promotion this season, if we don't bounce back straight away i fear a long stay in league 1

You are right but money talks and the opportunity of a £250,000 - £400,000 payday makes it a huge priority at the club

Quite a few are looking past the Palace game for the big payday...... can't see it myself. We just lost to Swindon at home and now going to Palace for an away win.  Stranger things have happened I suppose but we should be more focused on promotion IMO. Also why have the documents required by the FA still not been submitted for Fooks sake.......

just read that Big Sam is resting a few first teamers as he is prioritising their next league game so we could win if that's the case but at what cost to the players and our promotion push?

£250,000 is fine but we would get more from being promoted wouldn't we?

I don't think they'll see it as an either or they'll want both.
