Wanderers' Under-18s ran out winners over their Charlton Athletic counterparts on Saturday morning.
Nicky Spooner's side started brightly and played into a strong wind in the first period whilst also defending well against the Addicks.
Looking to counter attack when opportunities arose, they were eventually rewarded in the 43rd minute as Ryan White ran in behind and finished well into the bottom corner.
In the second half, the young Whites got on the ball more and attacked at pace - exploits which saw them double their advantage through Matt Fearnley on the hour mark as he beat the goalkeeper from 60 yards out.
Charlton then halved the deficit, but Wanderers responded well with White eventually going on to restore Bolton's two-goal advantage with his second of the game and in turn, make sure of the victory.
Bolton: Turner, Moulden, Lonsdale, Connell, Grivosti, Boon, Grant, Fearnley, White, Politic, Marsh
Subs: Jaaskelainen, Moore, Darcy, Preston
