I must admit I know I said pre season doesn't matter but a few more goals wouldn't have gone a miss during our friendlies so far.

When Newcastle won the Championship they lost 6-1 to Leyton Orient in a pre-season friendly, we still have a chance.

Lack of goals cost us dear last season. On top of that the only man who could be described as a natural goal scorer did not re-sign. It is screamingly obvious that the No.1 priority is a .... .......
It is possible that our dear manager has been told (on the side) that a very good loan deal is all but complete. I certainly hope so for I cannot understand why this crucial position has been ignored.
