One blogger on LoV suggests Gary Madine for POY. Thoughts?

Another goes for Morais and another for Wheater.

Lots to choose from for once!

Darren Pratley. Haven't we won every game he has played in?

Do we need a poll for this? Perhaps someone with the time and inclination could organise one for us.... Or do we need to wait until later on in the season?

Don't be so lazy, do the poll yourself.

Wheater or Beevers for me, both consistent over the season

Josh Vela. Stepped up to the plate this season and looks to have found his ideal role

He's been anonymous too often for my liking.

I agree. As mentioned elsewhere his closing down of space and workrate in general make all the difference to this team even though it's not a particularly glamourous job.

Pratleys only played a handful of games though, although to be fair he has made a difference to the team since coming back

Wouldn't argue with this. Nice that there are so many other choices though.

Poll added.

As for the LoV, I would have thought people would realise by now that it is a click bait site.

Do you really think all of the editors on there ALL honestly chose a separate player as their player of the year, and decided to write an article on it!

Exactly as they did last year too!

I don't.

Good for their clicks though!

Wheater for me ( just ahead of Beevers ) I presume Trotter was added as a piss take.

Can't argue with the Wheater or Beevers shout. Hard to separate so I'll go juvenile and pick Beevers on account of his name.

Seems a bit early to choose and half of the candidates have played less than half a season. You might as well add ALF and Clough!
