I've only recently got into live music, but I've really got the bug now. I'm no music snob, I've seen Kylie and Take That and Girls Aloud and loved them all. Perhaps your favourite gig was by a lesser well known act or maybe just a local artist. Let me know.

Muse in Wolverhampton in about 2000 was terrific supported by hundred reasons.

then Muse again Reading 2002 - incredible.

I'm massive Pumpkins fan too so when i got to see them on their "farewell" tour in 2001 i was seriously impressed.

I've seen Muse at a couple festivals. I wasn't that impressed, I'm not really a fan though, but loads of people thought they were amazing.

I have several, but at a push I'd have to say Ice-T at Glasgow Barrlowlands supported by Nat the Cat and Donald D. When they did 'Cop Killer' I would have got an erection had I had a penis.

I'm not even that big a fan tbh, though i do think origin is a 10/10 album. But live they were amazing, especially in the small venue.

Same person aren't they? Started as Ice-T then became Ice Cube then became Vanilla Ice. I know my hip hop.

You're probably read me boasting about going to Glastonbury already. Well, you're about to read it again.

I go to Glastonbury every year. Very hard to single out one specific act as the best I'vs seen.

Coldplay have been absolutely immense when I've seen them (2002, 2005, 2011).

I saw Muse in 2004 and 2010, preferred the 2004 gig as I loved the album they were touring and they were just edgier.

Seeing Brian Wilson in the scorching Summer sunshine in 2005 was like a religious experience, I don't think I've ever been in a place where everyone was around me was so happy.

To avoid Jay-Z in 2008 I had a choice between Massive Attack and The Proclaimers in a little tent. Went to The Proclaimers and it was just brilliant. The only time in my life I've been completely pissed twice in one day. There were loads of Scots in the tent and everyone was going mental.

Was right down the front of the main stage for The White Stripes in 2005, and it was beautiful.

One of the best front men I've seen was Ricky from the Kaiser Chiefs in 2005, they were at the peak of their powers after their first album and we were all in the palm of his hand.

God, I could bore the arse of you all day with Glastonbury stories and memories.

I've also seen REM, Radiohead, Stereophonics, Paul McCartney, Oasis, The Verve, Blur, Stevie Wonder, The Specials, Madness, Van Morrison, Rod Stewart, The Charlatans, Sinead O'Connor, Moby, Manic Street Preachers (twice), Jimmy Cliff (three times), Morrissey, The Killers, The Who, Paul Simon, Pulp, James Brown, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Amy Winehouse, New Order, Elvis Costello, Neil Diamond, Franz Ferdinand, Magic Numbers, No Doubt, Keane, KT Tunstall, U2, Gorillaz, Goldfrapp, Faithless, Starsailor, The Coral, Badly Drawn Boy, David Gray, Suede, Polyphonic Spree, Jools Holland (about 4 times), Plan B, Snow Patrol, Joss Stone, Supergrass, The Zutons, Pendulum, Maximo Park, Dizzee Rascal, The Fratellis, Lily Allen, Seasick Steve (3 times), Kings of Leon, The Raconteurs, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Shakin' Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Willie Nelson, Don McLean, La Roux, Florence & The Machine, The Dead Weather, The Lightning Seeds and Kool and the Gang.... off the top of my head, loads of others!

I know that was a bit of an Amos too much detail moment, apologies.

I love Glastonbury. Been about 10 times. I saw Coldplay there once. I think they were on after Primal Scream. Anyway I wanted to watch Primal Scream so got a good spot for them. When they finished and I tried to leave I realised their was about 100,000 people in the field and I couldn't escape. I hate Coldplay and had to stand there for 2 hours listening to Chris wanker Martin.

One of my regrets in life is that I've never seen REM live. I'm guessing they are outstanding?

To be honest, REM didn't absolutely blow my away. They were really, really good, mind.

If I could nominate one artist (from among the living) who I am desperate to see it would be Bowie. He's just a God.

Showing my age, the best gig for me was a double bill of the Doors and Jefferson Airplane at the Roundhouse in London in 1968.
