I remember the last time we needed to win our last game of the season to gain promotion. PNE were the visitors in 1993, and I was nervous as Hell the night before. I could think of nothing else.

Fast forward 24 years, and my only dilemma tonight is which film to rent from Sky Store. I've realised I don't really care if we fuck it up tomorrow.

So what if we get promoted. All we have to look forward to next season is a year of trying to beat the drop back into League 1. Brilliant, can't wait to get thumped 5-0 by Ipswich.

So come on, be honest, do you really care if we cock it up tomorrow? If Fleetwood beat us to promotion are you more likely to strip naked and invade the pitch in protest or simply shrug your shoulders and think about where you're going for your holidays this Summer?

Not all about what we think will happen tomorrow, it's more about what will become of our club if we fail tomorrow.

The Wanderers have been a part of my life for too long for me not to care.

If we fail,we fail,and it'll hurt,but I'll plod along next season,just as I have since 1961.

BUT WE WON'T FAIL.  ::bwfcfan::

Of course you're less excited this time round, you daft cow.

You were only 9 when we beat PNE and everything's always more exciting when you're a kid.

Edited for accuracy.

Yes I guess I care - old habits are hard to break.

I won't jump up and punch the air if we go up, neither will I break down in tears and kick the cat if we don't but I will be pleased if we do and a little bit down if we don't.

Martin I seriously doubt that Anderson has risked his money and gone all in on getting promotion at the first attempt. I've no doubt there is a plan B if we don't go up. The ST won't be getting their hands on the club just yet.

Yes I care. Very definitely. Very much. For a million and one different reasons.

And yet you don't give us one.

I've woken up. I'm annoyed that I have to go to the Macron on a Sunday.

I'm convinced those ponces are going to cock it up.

Yes-I care. If we don't go up then what the hell will happen next season. We'll probably spiral down into even more mediocrity, but going up gives us a chance to revitalise the club even though it will a tough call. I'd rather have a hard season finishing about 14th or 15th in the Championship than 14th or 15th in league 1

I care too much. Potential for euphoria but also for utter desolation. Hard to watch.

So alive that you might go to the game, or so alive you'll move your armchair a few inches closer to the TV?
