If it is the last one, look out for the lollipop lady dressed head to toe in flourescent yellow and just behind her is a silver Mitsubishi. My car outside my house.

Is it any good? I watched on and didn't really find it that sweet or funny. I really tried and wanted to laugh but just wasn't at all convinced.

I've watched them on iplayer.
I thought the first in this new series was a return to him being at his best again for a long while - dating back to the days of Phoenix Nights for me - then it return again to complete bollocks again the very next episode when it was all about a bloke in drag (I thought it was him at first - I know it wasn't now). For some reason he seems to think he's funny in drag?
The next one with the monkey I thought was pathetic too but the final one was a great deal better.
I quite like Kay, certainly at the start with his stand-up and Phoenix's Nights (although I understand a lot of the credit should really go to Dave Spikey and the bloke who played the part of Ray Von.
He's been hit and miss for me since then - mainly misses - although he did come out with a few gems from time to time such as the Amarillo video.
I'm not knocking him, I just don't like all the stuff he does.
Hope the next thing he does gets me laughing my head off again.
Johnny, I thought you were going to out yourself as the bloke who collects the shopping trollies!

i thought the whole series was excellent, just a shame he left it as he did as he could have done at least one more short series. I did read somewhere he said that a third series of Phoenix Nights had already been written, that would be great if it came back

He's already stated there will be no more. Sorry Mr Pig.

He said on the radio yesterday that the third series has been written for years but he hasn't had the time to film it. He didn't say it wouldn't happen.
Don't trust Bonce, remember Bonceygate? He can't be trusted.

I'd welcome another series of Phoenix Nights, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

Thanks to your latest avi, I read that in my head in a fiery Welsh voice, all sibilant and impressive.
And very rousing it was too.

As SLUFFY said the first one of the second series was very good.
The Blue Smurf was awful.
The monkey one was just pathetic.
The final one was quite good.
There was much mention of planning for Christmas in the storeyline, so perhaps there might be a one-off Christmas special.
Perhaps they could combine it with the inevitable Dr Who Christmas special
