can you swim?

I never learned to swim at school due to having 2 broken legs at the time when we were all shuttled off to the local pool to learn.
I did learn later in life but I was never really any good at it until I went on holiday to Mexico and did a lot of snorkelling on the reefs. Since then it's a doddle.

It does remind me of why Dylan Moran said he never learned to drive, because he couldn't swim and what would he do if he crashed into a lake?
