WANDERERS are willing to offload striker Jamie Proctor this summer with South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United and Doncaster Rovers already in touch.
Interest is high in the 25-year-old, who ended last season on loan at Carlisle United, helping them to the League Two play-off semi final.
Proctor has a year left on his contract with the Whites and it is understood the move would involve a fee.
Rotherham are on the lookout for striker options and have already sounded out Sheffield United’s Matt Done. They look likely to sell ex-Wanderers academy graduate Danny Ward on for a £1million-plus fee this summer and currently look best-placed to secure Proctor’s signature.

Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson has already added Chelsea striker Alex Kiwomya to the squad which gained promotion to League One last season and is also on the lookout for firepower.
After a promising pre-season, big things were expected of Proctor when he followed manager Phil Parkinson across from Bradford City last summer.
He struggled to establish himself as a regular starter, however, and scored just a solitary goal against Blackpool in the EFL Cup.
Gary Madine’s form up front consigned Proctor to the bench until the end of the winter window, promoting him to seek a loan move away.

At Brunton Park he scored four goals in 16 league starts and won over the Carlisle fans but there is no indication Keith Curle is looking bring him back to Cumbria next season.
Although hopes are high within the Wanderers camp they will be clear of the transfer embargo by August, they are currently bound by an EFL quota of 23 professional players.
A handful of fringe players have been released but Proctor and Chris Taylor – another of last summer’s signings – are almost certain to be moved on.
Former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Taylor finished off last season on loan at his hometown club Oldham Athletic but a cash row between the two clubs makes a permanent arrangement unlikely.
