WTF by Robert Peston is a very interesting read.

Increasingly looks like Burke and Cullen are gone with the interest in CYL, Mutch and the kid from Bordeaux Benrahou - all attacking midfielders, but haven't heard anything more about interest in a striker or CB, so with 3 days to go there are either deals in progress under the radar or we are struggling.
Perhaps Parky is accepting Dervite back into the fold after his strong performance last week so he can focus on attacking mids and maybe a striker?

Roy Hodgson has just said that one of his first team squad will be going out on load....Hopefully CYL

He hasn't quite got his dad's pace, but he's nippy yet he hasn't scored that many. Not massively different from Armstrong when he played for England U20s, but maybe he's a late developer and could do a job for us.

I'm sure Ken and his supporters would take the relegation for £10 million less the £3.5 million lost in TV revenue from a relegation.

Which would leave us in the 3rd Div with nothing but crap strikers and only 36 year old Henry in the central midfield of any quality, and an extra £6.5 million.

Sadly his pre season injury at Newport ended his career at the level he was at.His three seasons in the Championship with us were ok but not great, it took him a lot of game time to get any sort of form after that injury

Having said that he'll walk into our first team as the best creative midfield player if he's the same player that left.
