Ecky-Thump (pronounced Ecky-Thump, is an ancient and traditional martial art originating from LancasterLancashire in Northern England. Similar but superior to Kung Fu in many respects, it utilizes long, fierce-looking Black Puddings in place of more inferior Eastern weaponry. Practitioners of the martial art are easily distinguished through their ritualistic flat caps and accompanying whippets.

Bollotom, I'm not surprised you still hear 'Spiffing' if you're a Blue Job  Very Happy
A phrase you will also be familiar with, if you were a singly, and in the canteen, was 'Food alright, mail getting through ?'

One of my favourites has to be Feckless, leaves people with no doubt how you feel about there performance and perhaps needs to be banded around in the Bolton dressing room a bit more.
