Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of Karl Henry on a deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old, who was last on the books of Queens Park Rangers, has made 535 appearances during a career which has spanned almost two decades, including time spent in the Premier League.
Starting out with Stoke City after coming up through their youth ranks, the Wolverhampton-born midfielder played in over a century of games for the Potters in all competitions during a seven-year stay at the Britannia Stadium.
Moving to his hometown club of Wolves in 2006 meanwhile, he became a stalwart for the Molineux outfit, with 262 of his 272 appearances for them coming from starting berths.
Departing the Midlands side in 2013, he joined QPR and remained at Loftus Road until this summer, figuring on 118 occasions for the R's.
Now however, and following a lengthy spell training with Premier League outfit West Bromwich Albion, he has made Wanderers his fourth permanent club by agreeing a contract until the conclusion of the 2017/18 campaign.
