Does anyone use this? I don't even know where it is.

Is it worth going? What is the beer situation? Is it the same rip off prices as you pay in the concourses? Is it open both before and after games?

I've seen references to it on Twitter and so on. Can anyone go in? Is there a special handshake?

I have used it a few times. There is no draught beer, only cans and bottles. It's ideal for meeting up with your mates if Scotts and Harvesters are packed, which they normally are on match days.

I've been in a couple of times for 12.45 kick-offs, that's all. I don't know about the cost of beer in there because I've never bought one.

I remember when it was United v Liverpool, they did a shitty quiz at half time, then wanted to read out the answers two minutes into the second half. The presenter got booed off the stage and they put the football back on.

It's a nice big room with plenty of tables but you have to have your match ticket or be wearing Wanderers colours to gain access.

Its in the premier suite LH. I would recommend it for a 3pm KO as it shows the early game on the big screen they normally do a BWFC pub style quiz and its an ideal meeting place. Beer is fairly cheep £2.50 for a large bottle of beer.

When I've ventured in there its been OK, not overly busy like the nearby drinking establishments.

its shit...

warm beer served in plastic bottles.
frequented by happy clappers who sit and drink tea from flasks and eat home made sandwiches for 2 hours before the game.
no atmosphere whatsoever.

stick to scotts/harvester my friends...

Getting served in Scotts/Harvester is an ordeal.

yes but drinking it in scotts is fun... there is an atmosphere and its cold. Laughing

but if getting a warm half pint of fosters in a plastic bottle and drink it in a place full of people who are either sleeping, knitting or not doing very much is a good enough reason to get served faster... Rolling Eyes

its all about balance... speed and quality of beer - harvester would be a good compromise...

When I have had a beer in there, I get a pint in a plastic pint 'glass' which is cold. Maybe stay off the bottles. People are usually watching a live match on tv, not knitting :p

the Knitting was sarcasm ...obviously. the place is more boring than the west stand when we are losing 3 nil though...

There are two bars aren't there? A bottles bar near the entrance and a bar at the far end serving pints. It's an alright place to go if you're taking the kids but I'll usually have a few in the flute then get a minibus with the lads.,
