Wanderers have been warned to look out for a late sting in the tail at Fulham.
Steve Parkin watched the Cottagers’ recent 2-2 draw with Preston North End, in which they clawed back two goals in the last 13 minutes to salvage a point.
Notes were taken and the assistant boss now hopes the Whites can go one better than their Lancashire rivals and earn a first win at Craven Cottage in the league since 1992.
“We will have to be on the ball tactically,” he said. “They like to keep hold of the ball and they’ve got some very good technical players.
“They have scored plenty of late goals, much to Preston’s dismay. They had to go right to the very, very end in that game where they might have been out of sight.
“It is something we will definitely have to watch out for.”
Ryan Sessegnon is looking to help Fulham bounce back from defeat at Aston Villa last weekend.
“No game in this league is an easy game, and we’ll be taking Saturday very seriously,” said the young full-back. “We’ll be looking to bring the game to them, and hopefully creating a lot more than we did against Aston Villa.
“We’ve worked on Bolton, we know what they’re about. We expect them to come out and press us, but we’re used to that.
“We had that here when we played Preston recently, who came out flying, but as the Gaffer says, teams can’t come and press for every minute of the game, so there will be times where there will be space for us to play.”
