CONNOR Hall will be sent out on loan if Wanderers manage to add to their strikeforce again before the close of the transfer window.
Phil Parkinson has confirmed clubs in League One and Two are queueing to take the 20-year-old hitman before the end of the month.
But the Bolton boss will only sanction the move if he manages to land one of his targets, such as Ipswich Town’s Joe Garner.
“I’d like Connor to go out on loan,” Parkinson said. “I don’t think he’s ready to start in the Championship yet.
“If we get another striker in we’ve got several teams who would like to take him. It will be interesting to see how he does in league football.
“He played in the Conference at Woking, albeit briefly, but we want to see his development in league football and that’s the best thing for him.”
Hall scored 23 goals for David Lee’s Under-23s last season as they lifted both the northern and national play-off trophies and was rewarded for his efforts with a new two-year contract in the summer.
Parkinson has also confirmed new signing Marc Wilson could be held back from first team action until he has been able to catch up with the training workload.
“He came in a little bit late,” said the manager of his summer arrival. “He’s a little behind with regards to his training but it’ll come together eventually.”
Wilson aside, Wanderers go into tomorrow’s game at the Hawthorns with only one significant fitness doubt. Striker Clayton Donaldson will be checked over the next 24 hours to see whether the groin injury he picked up against Peterborough United in the final pre-season friendly will be enough to keep him out of the reckoning.
