In my youth I was driven home many times in a cop car but never actually arrested. I'm guessing most of you have, except Hipster.

No, I've never been arrested. I've come close on a couple of occasions, got caught pissing in a very public place in broad daylight when I was a student, my mate who was supposedly keeping watch didn't notice a police car approaching. That's the closest scrape I've ever had with the long arm of the law.

I have, and took a police caution for assault. I was thoroughly ashamed of myself afterwards and will always walk away from trouble if ever I see it coming. If ever anyone accuses me of starting something to the cops then they're going to see that and I'll be under the cosh from the start. In that respect it probably works as it's supposed to I guess.

I thought cautions were expunged from your record after a certain amount of time, THC.

We took a beer barrel from outside a pub.

It was empty, there was no rationale, perhaps to be used as a seat back in our student hovel.

A night int clink and had to walk home from the police station at 4am.

Yes once and it went to court but i got away with it,it got thrown out when the so called victim called my defence brief a lying c-nt in court. He was warned by the beak to stop but he went mad and they took him down and threw out the case. He was a nasty drug dealing, protection money collector piece of shit that came looking for me with believe it or not a shotgun in the boot of his car. I was at a house outside in the road when he pulled up to collect from someone . I asked him to leave he then opened the boot without saying anything and i saw him reach for the shotgun so i slammed the boot lid down breaking his arm and introduced his head to the boot lid a few times. He ran off i shut the car boot went in the house a short while later a knock on the door and i got arrested for assault because i admitted hitting him. They did not want my side of the story by the time i was bailed the car had gone. Lesson learnt never do a cops job for him by admitting anything as they will only nick you. The wife had to come to the nick and get me she was eight months pregnant at the time not nice for her at all. Funny thing though i had banged my knee in the incident on his car and as i was climbing up the stairs at the nick being released there had been a shift change the duty sergeant who escorted me out saw me limping and asked me if my knee had been hurt in the police station!! interesting. So all photos and prints were destroyed and a clean record. All the same a worrying time while we waited for it to go to court.

No sorry twice forgot i reversed a transit van right over a chinese woman in the road outside a pub. i heard a loud bang and some women at the bus stop were screaming one fainted . I did not know what the fuck was going on i stopped and opened the sliding door and looking up at me was this awful blood covered womans face her head sticking out by the wheel arch lucky i stopped before the front wheel went over her head. Anyway i got arrested and spent the night at the station they couldn,t breath test me because of a loophole that existed at that time where if you drank after an incident you could not be breathalysed by the time the cops got there i was having a pint in the pub with a double brandy in it to calm me down, They were fucking lived that i'd done that, but that was quick thinking by a mate i was with.I got a careless driving an endorsement and a fine, the chinese womans evidence was no good she did not speak english or know our road rules she just ran straight out of the cinema into my van she was going for a bus. I was very young i remember The film was Bruce Lee (Enter the Dragon) that should date it for you.The transit wouldn;t steer properly as she'd fucked the long bar underneath with her head and also weirdly she was wearing flip flops and lost one of them. Again not a good time.

It is, four years in this case. Two years left and my DNA and dabs are on some database for evermore, the twats.
