Ha-ha, very funny Megson.. But we do need a new manager. Let's think outside the box - what about Hope Powell? Well qualified and would wake up the numpties who vcall themselves Bolton WFC players. I await the blizzard of scorn.

I suggested this a few months back, you are clearly a visionary like me.

I think I'd rather be scorned than receive a ringing endorsement from Natasha.
Hope Powell, nice idea for the headlines, but the equivalent of appointing a former non-league footballer in terms of level of experience and expertise.

Difficult one for me. I want Bolton to be better than they are now but not by any means necessary. Coyle and Megson out!

International experience, worked with some of the best players in the world, not Owen Coyle.

Football is as sexist a business as uoul find anyway. I you think our players would respect hope powell you belong in a mental home.
Not to mention the vast differences between women's football and men's. Crazy suggestion I'm afraid.
For what it's worth I couldn't care less about Neville or keane's assosciation with united, whoevers best for the job should get it.

Women's football is garbage. I've got international experience too, I've been to another country. No disrespect to Hope Powell personally, but we need a manager who doesn't have a fanny.

Womens football isn't far behind mens football these days. If you actually watch it you'll see that many of the women can actually control a ball, hold onto it, then pass. You know, the basics that most men can't do anymore.
It's just a sexist thing that prevents women getting into football, no way would Powell not realise you need to defend properly to win games.

Just because men's football is sexist is no reason for it to remain so. The female game is in my view, far more entertaining and often more skillful. The only difference is the pace, and what has that got to do with the coaching. Stop being blinkered and backward thinking. And who else of that quality would come to bloody Bolton?

Women's football is shit. Call me blinkered and backward thinking all you like. It is shit. The idea of appointing a woman manager at BWFC is shit.

Largehat - calling something "shit" does not make it so.
Natasha - Many thanks for your endorsement

Felltrotter, too many people register and then get put off by Largehat and his bollocks. Don't be, he's in a small minority of bellends on this site.

Fell - unfortunately, neither does calling it entertaining and skillful.

Women's football is far from being shit. One of the best games I have seen in recent times was the 2012 Olympic Games clash between the ladies of New Zealand and Brazil. Excellent passing, movement, tackling, shooting - that game had it all. If Bolton played as well as either team did and lost, you'd get no complaints from me. You are blinkered and backward.

I don't know - does she coach New Zealand or Brazil ladies?

Whichever it is, she's managing semi-professional players.

So is Owen Coyle.

The male or female who coaches the ladies previously mentioned apparently understands the game far better than our Owen does.
