I thought we were talking about who our next manager should be, if you would give the job to a woman, just say so.

I want the best candidate for the job - fanny or not. At this point, however, I nominate Tony Readings for the job. Brazil & New Zealand ladies are both coached by men, Mr. Readings is the NZ coach.

I got laughed at for Roy Keane.
And then Natasha suggests Hope Powell.

Im not saying mens football should stay sexist, but the reality is players wouldn't respect a woman as a coach.
I can understand the view of women's football being more entertaining (although I don't agree) a big factor is how poor the defending is, if you think the only difference is the pace of the game then you need your head checking.
There's nothing blinkered or backward thinking in knowing women's football isn't at as a high a standard as mens, if England ladies played England mens they would get destroyed, 99% of the world knows that, including Hope Powell and England ladies, it's obvious.
You say Hope Powell is of high quality, what eveidence do you have of that? England ladies have had some success but nothing huge, the standard is lower than that of any professional men's league.
Come on let's have some serious names for next manager, otherwise we may as well hold on to Coyle.

Excellent passing, movement, tackling, shooting - that game had it all. If Bolton played as well as either team did and lost, you'd get no complaints from me. You are blinkered and backward.
True, it's not shit and it is entertaining to watch.
But it is nowhere near the standard of mens football, that's a fact.

Owen Coyle's Bolton doesn't play anywhere near the 'standard of men's football' either. Sad fact. Women don't usually just get up on a Saturday and go for a kick-about as boys tend to, which is where a lot of bad habits develop. The boys get spotted and then have bad habits coached out of them (hopefully) and progress. What tends to then happen is that the higher up in the game they get to, the more they think they know the game and return to bad habits. Had Zatiyah played how he does for us now in his earlier years, he would never had been called for England. Ladies generally start playing the game by being taught the basics and as a result have no or comparatively few bad habits to return to. Men may have more natural ability but for the basics of passing, movement, control and shooting, it is difficult to beat women's football of any recognised standard.
