As I've probably mentioned one too many times, I do like a drink, I love wine, and I also like lager, ales, gin, not exactly anything that's on offer but you get the picture.

Anyway, I have always fancied trying to make alcohol from scratch at home. So I've recently started just mixing apple juice with yeast as detailed in the link, and sort of hoping for the best. I can't be arsed just yet with all the jars, and thermometers and all the other paraphernalia that comes with it, I just wanna experiment with the simplest means possible.

On my first attempt at making a cider, let's just say you'd probably get more toxins out of Whittam's Twirl, but apparently it's all a big learning curve.

I was just wondering if any of you people have been down this road and fancied sharing your success, advice, horror stories, etc.

Unless you want to poison yourself i would suggest getting the right equipment Very Happy

The website Beer Hawk does a range of home brewing stuff, worth a look on there.
