Watched it last night. The One Show will never be the same again.

Watched it- and it was a funny as toothache.
He's just one of a growing band of unfunny comedians who proliferate on TV at the moment , who say, 'Laugh at me because I'm funny'. But in reality they're predictable, repetitive, uninventive  and as funny as a dose of the clap

Won't be a regular viewer then Rammy?

Nope- I'll stick to  Vera and  Endeavour

Can't stand either of them. Vera seems to go through every cop show cliche in the book.

Never even seen that one. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the modern cop show.
I watched the start of a programme called 'Baptiste' last week, and in the first ten minutes a guy was suffocated with a plastic bag, and rolled onto a plastic sheet in his living room. At this point, the killer produced a chain saw.....and I switched off.
Give me an old fashioned Agatha Christie any day.
Casualty is even worse. Why does anyone want to spend Saturday evening watching people screaming in agony, and being rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
I can get all that at the match.

Have you watched Shetland- is a bit better than the others because od the main cop-Jimmy Perez played by Douglas Henshall?

Not seen that one, but I remember a show call Hamish Macbeth, which was very enjoyable.

I'll certainly have a look at Shetland.

Big fan of Partridge and thought it was very funny. I do like all those types of humour that make you squirm like the office and curb your enthusiasm.

Yes. The rictus grin of his female co-host, can be seen all over the TV these days.

She's a bit wooden but if you were based  in Shetland beggars can't be choosers.
As a cop she wouldn't frighten me much

It's not funny any more. Didn't laugh once during the second episode.

The funniest thing on tv at the moment is the repeats of Green Wing on Gold.

It was disappointing. Great character, but probably past his sell by date now.

According to the viewing figures it's an absolute disaster although i never can understand how they know who's watching what.

I agree, it is a disaster.

It wasn't funny the first time around.

Coogan is great in Stan and Ollie though.
