They’ll never go completely bust, if worst came to worst, they’d just reform as FC Bolton or something

I would go to see whatever team we became but we would end up miles down the non-league pyramid wouldn't we?BoltonTillIDie wrote:They’ll never go completely bust, if worst came to worst, they’d just reform as FC Bolton or something
I can just see FC Bolton getting a few thousand and playing on Leverhulme Park

I'm not sure I could cope with liquidation.Norpig wrote:I would go to see whatever team we became but we would end up miles down the non-league pyramid wouldn't we?BoltonTillIDie wrote:They’ll never go completely bust, if worst came to worst, they’d just reform as FC Bolton or something

I read somewhere that is at the EFL's discretion as to where they restart in the football pyramid, depends on the type of stadium they play in.Norpig wrote: I would go to see whatever team we became but we would end up miles down the non-league pyramid wouldn't we?

Not sure there would be a "stadium" as such. Have to say that the AFC Wimbledon fans I know are very happy that they stuck by the reformed club. A lot of them are shareholders after the fans each put in a few quid and helped - and still help with the ground development, maintenance and administration. They had a fresh start way down the leagues, still consider the history to be their own and are delighted with the steady progress they've made - although none of them are deluded enough to expect a return to the top flight any time soon. They tell me the football along the way has been great to watch so it would be a matter of managing expectations and enjoying the ride - which is something we can't say of BWFC in recent times.MartinBWFC wrote:I read somewhere that is at the EFL's discretion as to where they restart in the football pyramid, depends on the type of stadium they play in.Norpig wrote: I would go to see whatever team we became but we would end up miles down the non-league pyramid wouldn't we?
