Nigel Reo-Coker is on the verge of joining Championship strugglers Charlton on a free transfer.


The 28-year-old former West Ham and Aston Villa midfielder, who left Bolton at the end of last season, has been looking for a club all summer and Chris Powell is prepared to take him on.

Serves him right. Talked the talk but didn't walk the walk. If we finish above Charlton then all his guff will have been nothing more than bullshit.

Good signing for Charlton. Id much prefer a midfield with Reo-Coker than Andrews/Mavies at this point.

I laughed my tits off when I read this.

It's very rare for a footballer to get his comeuppance, but Mr Reo-Coker has certainly got his.

He's ended up at a club no better than Bolton on a quarter of the pay.

He must be a very pleased man now.

I think the cocky little bastard deserves all he gets if im honest...

I though NRC was Will I Am.

I have to say at the time I understood his decision, a footballer only gets a limited amount of years and if you want to spend them in the top flight then that makes perfect sense.


But after this.. what a Numpty
