Fans back in stadiums

Hello Barron, nice to see a new poster on here 

I presume season ticket holders will get priority for matches. We had 9000-10,000 last season i think so not sure if we would all be allowed in? With a capacity of 28,000 in theory we could all be spread out between all 4 stands and tiers.

Ironic that Bolton will be playing at Cheltenham's ground about 2 miles away, but I may not be able to get in.

I can't see how a club would be allowed to charge people for games they couldn't see, so either all Season Ticket holders will be guaranteed entry (which of course will set a maximum limit of ST's available based on how many physically will be allowed in based on social distancing, etc, that the ground can handle - and I don't necessarily mean seats but more at the turnstiles (queues) and on the concourse etc) or they are given live coverage sent to their home or something along those lines.

I also wonder if there is no away fans allowed that there is someway of fans watching the games beamed back live to their home stadiums - and thus clubs recouping some of their trading losses perhaps?

I think I deserve a stand all to myself.

I don't fancy being cheek to cheek in the lower tiers. Social distancing a must early on.

i was thinking the same, and of course, and with the distancing, the use of the upper tiers allows for far more fans to attend.

With the very real threat of a second (and possibly third) outbreak I can't see it being the same as it was for several years to come and clubs should be making contingency plans for that instead of hoping everything is already going back to normal. Fortunately our big ground gives us a better opportunity to socially distance and thereby retain a modicum of income.

Probably right. I think a lot of people are thinking it's all getting back to normal with the wave of a wand. We're going to be impacted for some years to come, and we have to face up to it.

Chelsea are playing tomorrow. Its on BBC too.
